the mother dont seem to be tking care of the babies.

the babies are 3 days old, and the male is on top of the babies, and the mother is not going near the babies, seems to me the father is protecting the babies from the mother.

Hi Kenneth,

The father needs to be taken out of the cage and put in a different one.  Hopefully the mother will take care of the babies then. The babies should not be touched until they are at least 2 weeks old. Do you have syrian hamsters or dwarf hamsters?
