baby gerbils breathing

I have 5 baby gerbils and they are 4 weeks old 3 of them are having trouble breathing. they are breathing loudly like they have a blocked nose and every time they breath in they open their mouth as well. they are quieter than the other 2. please can you help.

Make sure they are in aspen or carefresh bedding as pine or cedar can cause upper respiratory problems.  If you're already doing that, make sure it is clean.  It sounds like they have an upper respiratory infection.  As they will rarely get over it on their own, they need vet care.  Try to keep them warm and dry and make sure they are at least eating/drinking.
