Red Urine

I have a Syrian Male Hamster and I just notice today that he is showing signs of red in his urine.  What can I do about this problem?  Please Help Lester my Hamster!!  Hurry, Hurry!!

hi theresa,

it sounds like your hamster has a bladder infection, he will need to go to the vets to get antibiotics, he also needs to be kept warm.
you will need to clean his cage out more often until he is better, with small animal cage disinfectant to get rid of the cause of infection throughly. remember to put plenty of fresh water in his cage.
