Furr loss and dieting

Question
I think its the sawdust and bedding i use, so what saw dust should i use? the skin is pink and my hamster is about 8 to 9 months old.

Aspen is generally a better bedding but in my personal opinion I don't like any type of wood shavings because if you don't change the cage about twice a week it will rot in the potty area. I use carefresh bedding and love it. It's a little expensive but it absorbs odor wonderfully. Soft-sorbent bedding is good as well. There are also beddings similiar to carefresh and soft-sorbent and I think they are maybe cheaper and still as good. If you can't find any of those beddings, try aspen bedding as it is one of the safest wood shaving beddings to use. If that is what you are trying now than I would look for the other brands mentioned above.
