size of average yorkie pup at birth

Question
I used to have a toy Poodle who had puppies a couple of times. Is the average Yorkie puppy about the same size as toy poodles and/or kittens or smaller at birth? My friend said Yorkie pups are two inches long and at birth and that seems rather small. My Yorkie is due to whelp next week and I am trying to figure out how many pups she will have based on the size of her tummy.

The best and most accurate way to determine litter and pup size is to do x-rays.  When you're feeling around you may mistake a kidney as a pup.

When you are doing a mixed breeding, pups will depend on the size of both parents and their parents and grandparents on all sides.  You will get some throw backs and may get some larger pups.
