5yr old pug having accidents

Question
my 5yr old male pug has always had accidents and doesnt seem to respond to any training methods.He is now pooing in the house daily, and now matter how much time he is outside he comes back in and has another accident.I live alone and cant have him in my eyesight constantly. Im out of ideas and iIm spending a fortune on cleaning products, can you help?

You need to manage him better to prevent access to certain locations, and motivate him to go potty in the correct location.
