dog peeing on the carpet

Question
i have two dogs. i have a german shepherd and a cocker spaniel.  recently my cocker spaniel is regressing.  she is 3 years old. and she has taking a liking to peeing on my carpet and she has never done this before.  please help me find a way to make her stop because my husband is really upset and she is a part of this family and i DONT want to get rid of her.  PLEASE help!!

After you have ruled out any health problems that could be causing the regression, I would recommend starting all over at square one and treating her as if she were a brand new puppy that had never been house trained before.
