puppy feedings

hi shelley,
thanks again for your input on what i should feed my pomeranian puppy i changed her food to wellness and i bought missing link and goats milk... however i was wondering about missing link it says it causes weight gain...
for dogs up to 20 lbs it says feed 1 tsp... but riley is no where near 20 lbs... she will be around 5 lbs full grown ...i just wanted to know if the weight gain would be a problem would i have to monitor how much food i give her.. like lower food consumption while on this... or only give this to her every other day instead of every day... whats your reccomendation?

I just pushed "duplicate question"...please ignore that.  I thought it was a computer error and then I looked closer.

As far as the Missing Link is concerned...does it say anywhere on the package about the age of the puppy just starting the product?  Normally I would suggest that you divide the tsp and just give 1/4 tsp.  However, because she is so tiny, can you see if there is an 800 phone number on the package?  If not, do a search on Google for the company information.  If you can't find it just let me know and I will do a search for you.

When you reach the company, ask for a dietician and discuss the situation with that person.
