DIARRHEA

Question
my yorkie has diarrhea.  She woke up this morning,stool was formed first then it was runny. When I got home from work she had another bout.  It was all runny, brown.  What can I give her to ease the diarrhea.  She is acting just fine.  I will try to get her in at a vet tomorrow if she has another bout.  But, if you have a suggestion, I sure could use it.

You can give her 1/2-1 cc of kaopectate if you have some on hand.  Cottage cheese is also good for upset stomach.  She may have eaten something that has upset her stomach, or it could be parasites.  I think taking her to the vet is a good idea since small breed dogs can go down on you pretty fast if they get dehydrated.  Good luck to you.
