QuestionHi,
I have a 10 year old female German Shepard.
She is a well behaved dog and we have never had any health
probelms with her until recently.
She's been having 'accidents' frequently. When we let her
outside...she has not been peeing. But then when shes in her crate
she seems to be 'leaking' urine. Is this just common effects of
aging? Or could it be an infection?
Is there any at home remedies I can try?
thanks!
AnswerHi Mallory, You should take her in and have her checked for a urinary infection. She could be leaking because of age too, but I would play it safe and have her checked for an infection too. I wouldn't wait too long because urinary infections can go up into kidney infections pretty fast. Hope this helps,
Dawn
