Killing germs

Question
what is good for killing germs that affect the dogs? I foster dogs from the kennel, and I have add one bring in a type of kennel cough. All of my dogs, all 7 have been vacinated, but still have gotten the cough. Most are about over it, I have 1 who just got it. So I am wanting to clean the yard and try to kill germs there because they all share the area. I was wondering if you know if anything I could spray on the yard to kind of clean it up. I have removed the messes.
I have some disinfectant that kills all the germs including HiV1 for the floor in the house.

Would spraying bleach in the yard work?
Would it kill worms too?

Thanks

Answer
The mian thing is to keep your dogs and the other dogs separated or to refuse to take in dogs showing signs of illness.  Unfortunately diseases such as kennel cough are passed on by direct contact between dogs and no amount of cleaning will prevent transmission.  The kennel cough vaccine is known to merely reduce the severity of the disease not to completely stop the dogs getting it - something your vet should probably have told you when ou first discussed the vaccine with them.
If you cannot refuse to take in ill dogs then make sure you have the facilities to keep them completely seperate from your dogs and change clothes and thoroughly disinfect your hands and foot wear before returning to your own dogs after attending to the fostered dogs.  You vet should be able to provide you with some surgical scrub if you explain the situation to them.
Hope this helps.
