Answer
Hello, Thank goodness you have rescued this poor pupppy!  I reccomend bulking him up on large breed adult Nutro dog food it is very high quailtiy and is avalible in holistic if you wanted to feed that it is very dijestable and I reccomend it to just about anyone. Or I feed all my dogs  Authority from petsmart...its made for petsmart and petsmart only so if tehre isnt a store of that sort near you it wont do much good. Authoirty is high quailtiy like Nutro but less expensive and my dogs got sick of eating nutro within 2 weeks they all love Authoirty, I have never feed organic or homemade diets so cant help with such questions and I have never personly fed herbs to dogs....unless parsley dog treats count, Best of luck with your new pup if you try the reccomended foods he will bulk up with healthy muscle in no time.
