concern for my dog

hello. My name is Lasheik and i have a american pitbull terrier. she is 1 yr old and she haven't shown any signs of going into heat. I want to know if this is normal or should i take her to a vet. please reply as soon as possible.

Hi,
It is not the norm, but it can be normal.  Some dogs don't go into heat until 18 months, some as early as 4 months.  You could have her checked for a bladder infection, this sometime affects the heat process.  Catch some urine  as she goes and take it to the vet for a test.
