dog sling

Question
I have a shi-zu dog male, and he was hit by a car and his left front leg is paralyzed. it drags on the ground a bit and the vet said that he would need to get amputated if he keeps dragging it. i dont see why i couldnt just get a sling or somthing that goes around like a harness and has a small sleve or somthing that i can slip the leg into so it doesnt drag, and i dont have to get it cut off. but i cant find anything on the internet that will just hold it up. i amgoing to make one myself i think but i was wondering if you knew anything i could do about it>??

The problem is that the dog will probably get a serious infection, that is why he needs to have it amputated!!
The vet knows more than anyone about this, and it is important to listen to the Medical professional in this case...otherwise, you could actually lose the dog with this kind of infection!
So, do keep your Vet involved.
