girl wont mate

Our 4 year old girl chihuahua wont mate with boy chihuahua hes 5 they have been together for 4 years and each time she goes into heat. its always no and he whines all the time.I tell my husband that she has better taste.plz help.

Hey Genny. Some females are not accepting of males at all & refuse to mate. There's nothing you can really do to help the situation. Have you considered all the things that come along with breeding dogs? Vaccines for the puppies & the possibility of the female having complications when she delivers? Small breeds can run into some issues & occasionally need a c-section b/c their pelvis is too small. If she's not accepting him, it's a strong possibility she won't.
