Beagle Sibblings

My boyfriend and I are looking into getting a beagle puppy.  We both work about 10 hrs a day and were considering getting two beagles from the same litter.  Would you recommend this, our intention is to keep them entertaining themselves while we are gone,? Also would you recommend getting a male and female or two females?  Thank you for your help.

I think getting two is a good idea, but you will have to be a little stricter with them because they will learn off each other quicker than you two.  However, it is great for them to have company.   I would get a male and a female.  Although 2 males may get along, they might not, and you want to reduce any future problems.  Ask the breeder how two males and two females get along.  They would know the best since they have a bunch and since they know the background.  However, if they say yes everyone gets along. Make them show you that they do by letting you see all their beagles together.
