my two dogs are driving me insane

Hi,

I have two dogs they're both black labs but the younger one is mixed
between pitbull and a black lab. the older one barks at the younger one's
cage once she is in the cage, then the younger one will bark back but
very madly. we constantly have to tell them to be quiet and i get very
agravated because they never be quiet.  

what is going on between the two of them?

also my parents did some renovating and my room is now down in the
basement with the dogs. everytime that i come home i have to yell at the
older one to move away from my door so that i can get in to my room, when
im in the house he won't be near my door. but when i go to sleep the
older one will be there.

Why does he do this?

the older one had tumor removed from his belly a few months ago and
when i was younger we had a dog that would lie under my cribe and he would
not let anyone except my family come in my room but he died a long time
ago and the dogs we have now have never been with the dog that died

Hi Victoria;
You need an obedience course badly.
Training is the key to getting them to do what you want.
It is not that easy to do, unless you have some help from someone who has experioience training dogs.
Petsmart and Petco stores have weekend obedience classes.
A qualified trainer teaches you how to train your dog.
You could take the one you have the most trouble with to the classes, and when you get home, do the same things you did in class with that one, and you would train them both for the price of one.
Also, from now on, you will know how to train any dogs you get.
The Humane society has these classes in some areas, and so do some of the rescue groups.
