new puppy wont eat or go potty

I just gor a 1 year old shih-tzu/beagle puppy and I have had her now for about a day and a half. she was not beaten she was very loved at her previous home. Ever since she got home with me she has eaten very little and she went pee twice but no poo. I was wondering if this is normal because of it being a new place or should I be concerned and take her to the vet?

I wouldn't get concerned just yet. I would give her another day or two to adjust to her new environment. She needs to learn where to use the bathroom as well as get to know her new owners. She should start eating within a few days (these small breed dogs do not eat very much at all). Also make sure that you are feeding her the same food that she has been eating with her previous owners. If you want to change her food, slowly introduce the new food by mixing it with her old food for a few days, not only will this help her adjust but it will also help avoid an upset tummy due to the new food. If she isn't eating and using the bathroom normally within the next two days take her to your vet. If she isn't playing and is just laying around the house you may want to go ahead and take her in to your vet. Good luck with your new companion! Feel free to ask any further questions you may have.
