Licking and Puking

Why does our 3 year old Shitzu lick everything and is this why he pukes quite often, usually in the middle of the night? Barb Ghio

Barbara,  you have me stumped, but if he is licking things that are poisoness to his system, I think that would be a good reason for his puking.  Put some bitter apple on the things that he is licking that could be poinsoness to him.  Also, get him some pet tabs vitamin  AND mineral supplement.  Sometimes they lick trying to acquire minerals in their diets.
