I dont own a dog YET

Question
Well I want a dog and I am determind to get one. My parents are both dog lovers but won't get one. Is there any breed of dog that is small/toy breed and could stay alone in the house by itself  from say 8:50am to 3pm?

Hello most dogs do well on a 9/5 shedual once they are full grown...puppies need to be fed several times daily and need many potty breaks during the day also with a toy breed puppy you can never leve it home alone as they can get low blood sugar and need imdeate treatment...this is common in toy puppies not adult toys. Yorkies and chihuahuas are Not dogs that like to be left alone...pugs either they are way too loving and cuddely to ever be left for so long alone...most other toys are fair game thou. please check my website for information about everything dog:
