My dogs are fighting?

Question
Hello,
I have a 7yr old rott- Female, A 3 yr old lab-male , and a 15 month old lab/collie-male.

Both my male dogs are neutered, the female is not.
My two males fight it seems like when my rott is in heat.
The small dog always starts it with the older lab and then the rott jumps in -so both the small lab and the rott are attaking the large lab. This week she is in heat and I had i'll say another episode, this time my large lab was injured with a gash on his leg and bite wounds the size of the fangs.I love my dogs very much, but I can not take any more.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am going to get my rott spaded hoping this will help or I will have to give one of the male dogs to my dad which i really do not want to.

Thank You So Much.
Brenda

Answer
I would confine the rottie while she is in season and see if that helps. It could be that she is instigating this as some bitches will choose which male they want to bred with, so she and the younger dog might be trying to get rid of the older male. (Dogs don't know that they are neutered.)

It could also be that something is "off" with the older dog as it is not uncommon for other dogs in a pack to try to eliminate a dog that is not healthy or old (although yours isn't old). Hopefully, having your bitch spayed will resolve these problems, but sometimes some dogs just do not get along due to similar dominance levels, etc., and you might have to place one elsewhere to prevent these incidences from escalating.
