Nutrition for German Shepard with Cancer

My 9yr old German Shep. was just diagnosed with what the doctors are telling us might be Osteosarcoma on her pelvic bone. She's currently on Prednisone, Tramadol, & a stool softener. Is there any type of diet that would be best for her? I was told to stick to proteins. She needs foods that will process in her system best because the tumor is in her pelvis, we need to keep her stools soft...as there is not much room to pass.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm so very sorry. This is a great website for help for dogs with cancer. However I do NOT agree with any of the suggested dog foods except for Innova. The rest I believe to be wonderful advice. http://www.dogcancer.net/diet.html Also remember, LOTS Of protein in peanut butter, get the all natural kind.
