Regarding a upcoming family member

Hi, I will very soon be getting a 3 month old jack russell terrier and pit bull mix. The dog is very small, and shows no signs of aggression, but does show playfulness, which isn't a factor. How should i go about training this dog? Go more with pit bull training tips, or jack russell tips. I'm lost? Is it too late to house break him, if not, how should i do it? These are alot of questions, but i thank you you for your time.

Hi Joel,  The training should go the way the dog is, not by a certain breed.  No, he is at the ideal age to housebreak as he is still in the imprinting stage of his life, so everything he does at this time is a behavior in his learning.  As far as house breaking, do you want him to go outside or on pads?
