My dogs eat my garden

Question
So I tried to start a garden, but my dogs ate the plants once they sprouted, then did they're business where the plants used to be. So I put up a little fence, that didn't work, so I put up a big fence, and they still manage to jump it somehow. How do I keep my dogs from eating my plants and trashing my garden?

In a nutshell, by managing them in the back yard so they don't get better and better at it and (the missing piece of the puzzle IMO) giving them something better to do. Things like: Stuffed frozen kong bombs hidden in the yard, increased activity out of the yard. I would only put them in the yard when they were really tired from a big day out. And bringing them in sometimes if they are 100% outdoor dogs.

In other words, increase the value of other things! And don't garden in front of them.
