snorting in mini Schnauzers

Dear Karen,
Our little Sofie has suddenly started making a snorting sound, something like reverse sneezing.   What could be causing this?  She had a shot at our vet for allergies about a week ago.  Can you help us?  Thank you,  Sr. M. Bernadette

You might want to call your veterinarian and discuss this with him/her (and possibly tape the sound for the vet to hear).

I used to have a dog that did this, and I would cup my hand and "pound" on him over his shoulders to get him to stop.
