chow/wolf hybird mix

Question
I have a chow wolf mix , i love this dog more then the world , he is seven now and we are having some bitting issue , he seems to be over protective of me and he hates little kids , i can be out side with him and any one can pet him , if im not out their he bites every time, he also has a play mate chow female she has been walking up to him biting him in the face and the rear end for no reason , i don't understand what is going on with him, he has been baby all his life i have never hit or allowed any one els to hit or swat any thing at him , why does he have so much anger towards other people ?

It sounds like he thinks he is the alpha and is in charge. This happens a lot esp if the dog has never been to formal training. It is never too late however,to do so. And I think right now you have to do that before things get worse,training classes will put you in charge of the dog-and a trainer can walk you through the steps
