Question
I have 2 Siberian husky dogs that are 3.5 yrs old each. they have been have always been together in the same outside very large dog house and large kennel fenced in area and have always gotten along from day one. Now it seems that they are fighting more and more. Is this normal and is it even possible to keep 2 male dogs together like this. Is it recommended even at all. They are not neutered yet.

Answer
Hi Jim,

Neutering your dogs is a good first step in stopping the aggression.  Even though your dogs have a large kennel area, it's not a substitute for the mental stimulation a dog gets from a good run in a park, leashed walk, or a jog around the block.

I think the combo of neutering and increased exercise outside of the kennel area will cure your problem.

Best of luck,

Patti
