dog weeing

my dog is 4 years old he is house trained but recently we had wooden floor put down and he keeps weeing all over it he has bin newted how can i stop this because it is ruining the wooden floor and my husband wants to get rid of the dog but i dont so please can you help. thanks dawn

This sounds like it might be a medical problem such as a bladder infection,which is fairly common and causes dogs to make accidents,as they are unable to hold it in-there's also a number of other medical conditions that cause this,so it's best to take him to the vet first

Now if it isn't medical,the best way to fix this is with a crate,and put the dog in there at all times except to go outside every few hours,to be fed,to play and go on walks ect

But it will be best to have your vet check everything first
