This is Sassy's first litter and my first time at this too. Could you tell me how many puppies they have the first time around?

Congratulations on your impending litter!

The only person who can tell you how many puppies Sassy is carrying, is your veterinarian.  X-rays can be taken, and fetal skeletons can be visualized at about 45 days into pregnancy.

A Pug's average litter size is 3 pups, meaning there can be more or less. Without the x-rays, you'll have do this the old fashioned way, and just wait and see.
