new dog HELP PLEASE

Hi, how are you? Well i just adopted a new dog 48 hours ago from my local animal shelter. He's a male, he's been neutered, he's 2 years old, and he's a terrier mix. He's a very loving, sweet, and playful dog. Very obedient too. He' somewhat house trained. He's perfect! But I'm having some problems. He won't eat. I've bought different dry foods and caned also and nothing. By accident i droped some ham and he ate it and yesterday i fed him some beef chunks in my hand (he ate about 8). Today i took him to the shelter vet, because he is also sneezing and they gave me some antibiotics for him. But he won't eat. I need HELP PLEASE!

I know it is scary when you get a new dog.
But, unless he stops drinking water, not eating in a "New Environment" is actually not a problem, very normal.
The Vet needs to be consulted again if he stops drinking water.
Just leave the food down for about 30 minutes for him to see..then remove it.
Do that twice a day, and he will get used to the idea if he doesn't eat, he will miss a meal.
Animals will not starve themselves, never!!!!
They can only dehydrate, and that happens when there is an infection.
So, best thing is to watch the fluids, and then, if need be take him back to the Vet!
