Urine in blood

I have a 2 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has been spayed.  She recently developed a limp, the vet put her on an anti inflammatory pill, and today I noticed she has some blood in her urine.  One of my friends suggested she could be in heat, but I'm still worried.  What does this mean?

Blood in the urine is indicative of infection, or another problem in the body.
I recommend you take the dog back to the Vet.
Since you have her spayed, she will not go into heat.
Let me know what the Vet says.
