Shedding Shih Tzu

It was my understanding that the Shih Tzu does not shed.  My 10 month old has been shedding for the past two months.  I thought it was getting better a couple weeks ago but now she's shedding like crazy again.  I have to carry a lint roller everywhere I go!  I feed her Innova puppy food (dry) and Wellness brand treats.  She does not get any people food.  I brush her every night.  Can antibiotics cause shedding?
