Question
2Yr. old female Pomeranian that frequently shakes her head and twitches her ears and sometimes scratches them. Had her to Vet, vet indicated possible allergies. Was given Bennadryl for a year, which helped intermittently. Also, no visible problem to ears. Should I be concerned with any kind of brain defect? Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you.

Hi Candice,  I bet your Vet is right about allergies.  It may be related to environmental problems such as dust, soil, trees, pollen, grasses, Almost Anything!
It's hard to control the environment.

I do have some supplements that can help with the possible pressure in her ears.  I am sure she has some inflammation that is bothering her head and ears.

What food do you feed her?  Also, what is her weight?  Is she overweight at all?
Do you use anything besides the Benadryl for her allergies?
Any vitamins or supplements?

Get back to me so that I can help.
