baths

Question
i like to give my yorkie a bath at least twice a week. i was told i should not bathe him as often. what is your answere? thanks......joyce

Hello Joyce, I know yorkies can be oily.  Twice a week might be just a bit much.  Once a week using a good conditioning shampoo, possibly followed up by a dog conditioner should do him no harm.  However, I cannot stress this enough.  After shampooing...rinse,rinse,rinse! If you leave any residue behind you will see that he will develop a dandruff problem.  Thanks, Cindy lou :)
