soiling at my boyfriends house

Question
I have had my wire-haired fox terrier for 2 years.  He is a rescue so little is known of his past.  At first there was some accidents at my house when I first got him but that has subsided.  Since I have been taking my dog with me on weekends to visit with my boyfriend, he has been soiling in the house.  It happens when we leave him there for awhile (couple of hours) but also when we are there but in another room.  Can he be acting up because I am not paying as much attention?  He broke two wires on a very strong crate and pushed his head through in the middle of the nite as well.  When I leave him at my house to go to work for 8 hours there is no soiling.  It only happens at my boyfriend's house. help.

Answer
Hi Kimberley,

I have heard of this type of behavior before. Sounds like your dog is having a problem with your boyfriend.  Jealousy, is an issue with some dogs.  I think you may need to ask a trainer what can be done to solve this problem.

Good luck
