Toy fox terrier heat cycles

I'm a first time TFT breeder. I want to know about when toy fox terriers get their heat cycles. Do they get it once, twice or 3x's a year. Every 6 months etc. I need this information from an experianced breeder. Thank you all if you answered my question!

I am not an experienced breeder, so I am not a good source of information for this topic. Female dogs usually go into heat 2 times a year, but they should not be bred til they are at least one year old.

Please become well educated about this before you decide that you need to do this. They are already many more dogs in this world than there are homes for them.
