poodle temperment

Which mini poodle has the better temperament, a male or female?  my sister in law has a male that we will be around from time to time.  we have too children as well ...

Individuals vary too much to say.  If you are getting one and hope for the 2 of them to get along, best go with a female.  Most dogs will get along fine, but a male and female is the least likely to be a problem.  

The best thing with children is to get the puppy into the home about 7-8 weeks and carefully supervise it and the children.  Most of the problems of dogs and children involve dogs that were never exposed to children before 12 weeks.
