two pups vs. one

Question
I am seriously considering adopting 2 lab puppies at the same time instead of one. I have heard both sides of the story; raising two is a bad idea because they will form a pack, and also it may be easier because you will get all the training and obedience out of the way (2 birds with one stone!). I was just wondering your opinion on this. Thanks!

Answer
Two birds with one stone? Sorry, not familiar with the phrase. Do you mean hitting two birds with a stone? :(

Two is better. Forming a pack is a good thing. All dogs form a pack, including with humans. Your dog already is in a pack with you. Antoher dog will join the pack already made. By the way, never let a dog walk in front of you unless you say it's O.K., otherwise your telling her she is more dominant. (Bad idea). Also never let them junp on you, as this is another sign of dominance.
