Pregnant? Chocolate Fem. Labrador

My Female labrador ranned away from home for about 12 hrs a month ago. Now, her nipples are very pointy and a little swollen. Her upper body (chest area) is a little bigger then usual. Can she be pregnant?

I am assuming the dog was in heat when she ran away?  If she was, it is very possible.  Typically they don't normally show outward physical signs of pregnancy so soon, but it could be possible.  

If she was in heat at the time she ran away, you will need to take the dog to a vet to confirm.  They can do a blood test to verify.  

I would also talk to your vet about spaying the dog.  It is the most responsible thing a person can do for their pet.
