My Golden Puppy - What Color Will She Be?

Hi! I recently bought a Golden Retrievr Puppy for my son. He was very attached to the neighbors Golden that we watched in our home for 2 months while they were away on business in Japan. Anyway, I went and bought him one after she left because he was devestated. I tried to pick one that looked just like her. Then I head that Goldens can change colors. Some can go from Golden to Red!! I had no idea. She seems to have a little darker brown on her ears and tail and at the end of her tail there is a little reddish tint (I think). Can you help me with some tips on the color changes and how to tell what color she will be? Are there signs to llok out for and when if any will she change?

well my golden we wanted a really light color and so we bought her almost white! your golden pup shouldnt come out in a reddish color (like in an Irish setter) but she will be a darker golden, red. it is hard to tell because i cant see her. you could also ask your vet and they could tell you the color she will turn out to be. *hope i helped*
