Question
My husband and I purchased a Von Feder German Shepard 3 months ago.  I took him to the vet today to get his rabie shot, and I was told he is not full bred shepard.  I am so mad.  We are attached to Jake, and I would never get rid of him.  What can I do to the breeder that gave me papers saying he is full breed?  I was also told that he is not 6 months old, but 8 months.  His ears are not up yet and probably never will be.  Is there anything I can do.  I don't want to trade him in.  Like I said I am too attached.

Kathy

Answer
HI KATHY
I WOULD MOST CERTAINLY GO BACK ON THAT BREEDER NO MATTER WHAT YOU PAID.
WHAT KIND OF PAPERS DID U GET, NOT FROM THE AKC, FOR THEY CHECK CAREFULLY ALL LITTERS TO BE REGISTERED.?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW MORE DETAILS ON PAPERS ON THE DOG, HOW MUCH YOU PAID, ANY WARRANTY.
THIS VON FEDER SOUNDS LIKE AMERICAN BLOOD?
CLICK ON MY SITE, EMAIL AND TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS, I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A MESS.
I WOULD GET ANY ATTORNEY AND SUE THIS BREEDER FOR SURE.
PLEASE EMAIL ME AT SHEPFORU@ADELPHIA.NET
