German Shepherds ears standing up

Hi.
Recently my husband & I have purchased a fmeale german shepherd mixed from our local humane society. . . We are not to sure on her age but they guessed that she was 4 months when we got her. . . So we are thinking she is about 7 months now. . . Well we are wonder if her left ear will ever stand up. . . Her right ear has been standing up since 5 months. . .  Her left ear goes up & down & sometimes will stand up for a period of hours then it falls back down. . . It's not totally floppy just the tip of the ear isn't standing up yet. . . Will it evenutally stand up on it's own by the time she is 8 months to a year??

I think so.  You do see some adults with an ear flopped down or partly, but very few.  I think many of the dogs, the ears are up by 3 months, but some continue to come up as late as a year, and I recently saw a report of 18 months.  It may eve be a behavior thing.
