Soft Ear

Can you please give me as much information about "Soft Ear" as possible so I know if that is what my puppy has?

I don't remember seeing that term.  It may be referring to the occasional problem of ears failing to stand up.  Most of the Shepherds I see have their ears up in a timely manner. Since you see very few adults without erect ears, I suspect they nearly always come up on their own.  Some people feel it is important to glue or tape them up.  I have seen nothing on that from sources I trust.  I checked my The Art of Raising a Puppy by the Monks of New Skete.  It says nothing about the problem.
