Eye Goop

Hello. My one year old boxer boy has recently been having a marked increase in eye discharge and it seems to be thicker and yellowish in consistency. I am thinking this may be an eye infection of sorts ( I only have my kids to compare this with!) Will this clear up or shall I take my sweet Oscar to the vets? Thanks.

Thanks for your question. I would recommend the vet visit as yellow or green discharge could indicate an infection and probably will not clear on its own. Thanks again for asking your question.
