Question
My boxer Jojo was diagnosed with what the vet said she thought was lymphoma today. Jojo is only 6 and still acts like hes a puppy, my family and i want to do anything we can to keep him alive without racking up ridiculous vet bills and so fourth on account that we don't have that kind of money. Is there anything we can do to possibly cure him and help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
I am sorry to hear about your boy's diagnosis.  :(

There are a variety of alternative and complementary treatments for cancer in general and Lymphoma specifically, the use of which are variable depending on the individual situation.  Some of the more-referenced sites I've seen which discuss various protocols are these:

http://www.caninecancer.com/Lymphoma.html
http://www.holisticnatural.com/cancer%20integrative.htm

As well, there is the "cancer diet", which is outlined by Dr. Clemmons at the University of Florida, here:
http://neuro.vetmed.ufl.edu/neuro/AltMed/Cancer/Cancer_AltMed.htm

Probably the most thorough site is http://cancer.landofpuregold.com/ - this page in particular also gives links to many online discussion groups for owners of dogs with cancer, which can be quite helpful both for information on various treatment protocols and for guidance and support from someone who has been through the process:

The on small bit of comfort is that Boxers in general tend to deal with Lymphoma better than most other breeds, meaning they respond better to treatment and have longer periods of remission.  Of course this varies on an individual basis.

I wish you the best of luck.
