Swollen Hind legs and Genital

Question
My boxer has developed what seems to be a progressing cough. The Vet didn't find anything to worry about. Hia hind legs and genitals are now swollen. Do you have any idea what it could be?? He is 13 years old and it's breaking my heart see him that way. I truly appreciate any information you can share.

The only thing that comes to mind with a cough and swollen limbs would be congestive heart failure, but I would hope the vet would have noticed that.  You might consider a visit to a veterinary cardiologist to rule out a heart issue.  You could also try Cornell's online Consultant - you can enter in signs and symptoms, and it will kick back a list of possible diagnoses.  You can then explore these possibilities to see if there is one (or more) that matches your dog's condition.  Of course this should be followed up with a vet, but it does give you a direction in which to look.
