black bumps that look like ticks

my 6yr old boxer has been getting black lumps that look like ticks but they are not. i noticed the first one on his back paw. then one on his front inner leg, then i saw a lump under his fur on his back, when i pulled back the hair it was bleeding a little bit and there was another hard black lump. it again looks like a tick or a mole. what could these be?

Boxers can get black bumps that appear like moles or stickers even.

They are harmless and normal in some, depending on genetics.

However, if they are abundant, such as you mentioned on his paw, front inner leg, and on his back with one bleeding- I have no other option but recommend you take him to your vet for testing.

These could be cancerous or something else; no one can guess, so they should be looked at by a professional and tested as well.

This is something you cannot treat by yourself.
