Answer
Hello Alicia,
6 month is still concerned a puppy. So this is normal., but if she has been trained and you say she might know what she is doing is wrong. That is a small sign of some bladder trouble. Easier to get in female dogs. Chances if it was a bladder problem it would be a urinary tract infection, which aren't serious unless not treated. The other thing is she may be suffering from a little anxiety, which makes them go unannounced, or when they are scared. A puppy at that age is still learning right from wrong. Get her on a good schedule that you can take her out. If you leave food and water out during the day, that could have a great deal to do with it. Try taking her food when you wake up in the morning and taking her out before you leave. If you have a lunch break try doing the same thing, and at dinner time to. At that age they tend do go around 30-50 minutes after they eat. So my best advice would be get her on a good schedule, and if you still have complications then check with your VET for bladder trouble, or signs of anxiety. Good luck and keep in mind that she is still young they aren't fully grown until two years. Good luck and I hope for the best!
