BEAGLE HELP!!

I have a 2 year old beagle he found me when he was about 6 months old very loving good boy he has raw hides chews i play with him love him up very spoiled my question is Polaris only chews on things that aren't his but not all the time and most of it is plastic why does he do this.

Hi Amber, you beagle boy is a DOG! that is why, he doesnt know the difference, dogs do not have brains like humans, all he knows is that it smells good and he wants to taste it. You have to teach him what is ok and what isnt. I would suggest some obedience classes at your local park and also "baby-proofing" so there arent things around he can get into. Praise him when he plays with his chews and toys and when he takes one that isnt his dont get mad at him because he doesnt understand, just take it away and give him one that is ok and then praise him again.
