What are some foods harmful to Beagels to eat? Such as human foods, what is okay not okay  i.e. chicken bones

There are in all honesty NO safe human foods. Many foods are poisonous, (please go on line and do a search for the list) others will give them Gastrointestinal issues and allergies. ABSOLUTELY NO CHICKEN BONES OR BONES OF ANY SORT!! They are not wild dogs and are not able to eat these kinds of items. Bones of any kind can get stuck in their throat or if they make it down can perforate their stomach, intestines and bowels. You are asking the right person as I have a male beagle 3 who last year got into the trash and about 6 thousand dollars later waa lucky enough to make it. We came within seconds of losing him and it was all from the chicken bones he ate. Dog food is especially made for them with the proper nutrients, vitamins and ingredients. Domesticated dogs do not need human/natural food. Put yours on a high quality food and you will have few problems, I recommended Dick Van Patten's brand, it is sold at PetCo and on the internet and is worth every penny. Beagles are also notriously allergic and he also has allergy formula's in his line. They are therefore also notriously fat as a beagle will eat until he literally pops. If you want yours to live a long life stick to only high quality dry food.
